Guys, gals, and nonbinary pals, Adam Steele is back with his quarterback recap. And we thank him for it.

Matthew Stafford ranks first in both DYAR and QBR and has a sizable lead over the league overall. Meanwhile, Jared Goff languishes way down in 27th. Of course Stafford may regress as the season goes on, but so far it looks as though the Rams were the clear winners in their trade with Detroit.
Quarterbacks who score significantly better in DYAR than QBR include Dak Prescott, Kirk Cousins, Baker Mayfield, Jalen Hurts, and Jared Goff.
Signal callers who are strongly favored by QBR include Joe Burrow, Carson Wentz, Jameis Winston, Ryan Tannehill, Jacoby Brissett, and Sam Darnold.
There doesn’t seem to be a discernable pattern in which type of QB is favored by each metric. What stands out to you?
