Previously:
The two worst quarterback performances of week 8 happened on Sunday Night Football between the Eagles and the Cowboys. Philadelphia quarterback Carson Wentz was a disaster: he committed four turnovers and averaged 3.0 net yards per pass attempt. He averaged 0.1 ANY/A and that doesn’t even include the fumbles! And he won! That’s because Dallas was down to third string rookie quarterback Ben DiNucci, making his first NFL start. It did not go well: DiNucci averaged exactly 3.0 net yards per attempt on 44 dropbacks, and the Cowboys went 4/16 on third down. Against any other team, Wentz and the Eagles likely lose, but Philadelphia emerged with a win on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes did Patrick Mahomes things, while Nick Mullens was outstanding in garbage time: that may sound like an oxymoron, but he did come in and lead three straight 78+ yard touchdown drives to end the game. The table below shows the full week 8 Game Scripts:

The Chiefs/Jets game was the biggest mismatch of the week — surprise! — while the Cowboys/Eagles game was the only one where a team lost the passing efficiency battle but still won.
